Jo’s doing it again! She’s hosting a Christmas Reading Challenge! The challenge runs from October 1 to December 31. Here’s what it’s all about…
HOW TO JOIN IN WITH THE CHRISTMAS READING CHALLENGE
* Choose 20, or 15 or 10 books that you’d like to read (and hopefully review). They do not have to be Christmas themed.
* Take a photo or make a list of those books.
* If you’re a blogger, make a quick introductory post telling us what you are going to read. You can link to your post on Jo’s page.
* You can also join in on social media.
* Tag Jo on Twitter @littlejojackson. You can use the hashtags #20BooksForChristmas
#teaandcakeforthesoul
* It’s up to you whether you review as you go along, or do one long round-up post at the end or halfway through. Don’t forget to leave reviews on Amazon, Goodreads and other online stores to show support for the authors.
Here’s my list of 15 books for the challenge:
- The Winter We Met by Samantha Tonge
- Christmas Canapés and Sabotage by Janel Gradowski
- Rosolio Red by Traci Andrighetti
- Mayhem and Mistletoe by Amanda M. Lee
- Holiday Treasure by Melody Anne
- Sleighed at Castle Rock by Anne Marie Stoddard
- Christmas at Carly’s Cupcakes by Jessica Redland (updated version)
- Secrets in the Snow by Emma Heatherington
- Cocoa Curses by Erin Johnson
- Christmas at the Contraband Cafe by L. Bell and S. Brodie
- Christmas at the Marshmallow Cafe by CP Ward
- Free Spot
- Villa of Dreams by Lucy Coleman
- Maggie Finds Her Muse by Dee Ernst
- Wine Tastings Are Murder by Libby Klein

Yay! It’s time to break out the Christmas stories. I’ve got sweet romances, cute cozy mysteries and some contemporary fiction lined up to get me into the festive spirit. Thanks to my Kindle Klean-Up Challenge, I was able to pull out a few Christmas books I’d had sitting idly on the device. There are a couple new stories from favourite authors (and one updated version). I’ve also included three non-Christmas ones I’d like to read before the end of the year. I’ve only left one free space this year but, hopefully, I’ll get cracking with this list and have time to read a couple other blogger-favourite recommendations.
Are you doing any Christmas reading challenges? Which ones? If not, there’s still time to join in on this one!
Enjoy all your upcoming Christmas stories and good luck with the Christmas Readathon. I am also participating and enjoying all my Christmas reads.

I selected 20 to read that had been on my TBR for awhile. I have read 6 so far, I need to get back to them. Now that I am able to read more, I hope to read some of the books that have been languishing on my tablet.

That sounds good. I thought I had more on my kindle but I only found about 5 when I cleaned off my kindle.
I’m looking for a sweet historical fiction Christmas novella. If you have any recommendations, let me know! 😊

Have you read A Holiday by Gaslight by Mimi Matthews?

Hahahahahaha. Do you know, I was going to comment and say I’ve already read Holiday by Gaslight. Lol. It was such a popular one year before last. I read it last year though.

Some fabulous-looking books there. I’ve read The Winter We Met by Samantha Tonge and it’s lovely so really hope you enjoy that. Thanks again for giving my updated re-released Christmas at Carly’s Cupcakes a try xx

I read Winter in time for the blog tour last month… so lovely indeed. Made me smile right through. Lol.
About a fifth way through Carly at the moment…. Bethany’s daycare incident was a new bit? Lol. I’m playing spot the differences. haha. realising my memory may not be all that sharp.

I know! When they were out a few months ago I wasn’t really keen to look into them. Lol. It’s the way it goes but still.
