Awesome Blogger Award (2)

Awesome Blogger

I was nominated by Joe @ StoreysofStories. Thanks very much Joe.  I know he’s hard at work writing for the NaNoWriMo challenge and I just want to wish him all the best in this last week!  He also loves to send me tags and challenges just to see which of us can annoy the other more. 😜 I’ll let you get over November, Joe, but I’ve got some tags in store!

Awesome Blogger Award Rules

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Include the reason behind the award.
  • Include the banner in your post.
  • Tag it under #awesomebloggeraward in the Reader.
  • Answer the questions your nominator gave you.
  • Nominate at least 5 awesome bloggers and let your nominees know that they’ve been nominated.

Behind the Awesome Blogger Award

The award was created by Maggie at Dreaming of Guatemala who stated – “This is an award for the absolutely wonderful writers all across the blogging world. They have beautiful blogs, are kind and lovely, and always find a way to add happiness and laughter to the lives of their readers. That is what truly defines an awesome blogger.”

If you could choose any job to have in the world (fictional or real) what would it be and why?

Hmm… I’d maybe like to be artist.  I’m mesmerised by the way some people can take a plain canvas and some colours or even the most random materials and create a piece to inspire and evoke emotion in others.  But seeing as I can’t even draw a simple doggie, I may have to pass on that one!  Maybe a writer then?

Who is your favorite booktuber/blogger?

I’m not falling for this one.  That’s like asking me to pick my favourite child or my favourite book!  I will say though that there are several bloggers whose blogs I enjoy as often as I can visit.

Why did you decide to start blogging?

Seemed like a good idea.  Just over a year later, I’m still loving it.

We all have literary passports, where is yours stamped the most?

England and the US.  In total, I’m hoping I’ve at least scratched every continent, however.

I saw this on another person’s post and obviously had to include it in mine:  What’s your Harry Potter name? Use this generator to find out! (FYI- mine is Jugson McClaggen)

Nagini Shacklebolt… okay then.

What are some of your guilty pleasures? Whether they are book related or not.

Red wine.

And yes it really has to come back to books…. the very very very few days where I can steal a couple of hours and devote them to reading only.

What is something that you love about your blog?

It feels like a bit of a home… an online home.

What is something you admire about another blog, or want to try with yours?

Some blogs are really pretty…. I’d like to make mine a bit prettier. Also, maybe get all my reviews properly sorted.  But for now, I’m happy to leave well-enough alone.

What is your favorite post that I (Storeys of Stories) have made?

The First Impression Friday!  The tag he created.

What is your favorite post that you have personally done?

I like a lot of my posts but I really enjoyed putting together this one: Buddy Read and Thoughts on Children of Blood and Bone

My Nominees

I know so many awesome bloggers and many of them have even done this tag before.  I think you’re awesome and if you’re looking for a tag… here it is!
