Happy Mother’s Day

 

My eldest was born three days after Mother’s day.  I’d been secretly hoping he would have arrived in time for me to celebrate my first Mother’s Day but God and babies make their own plans!  So it would be almost a full year before I’d enjoy Mother’s Day as a Mom.  That year my son and husband gave me “Love you Forever” by Robert Munsch.

I’ll like you for always
As long as I’m living
My baby you’ll be.”

So begins the story that has touched the hearts of millions worldwide.

 

I’m not joking when I say, every time I open this book I get teary-eyed.  I took me forever to finish reading it the first time! 🙈 It’s a beautiful story that goes straight to the heart, and speaks to mums with children of all ages.
