I was tagged by Mischenko @ReadRantRock&Roll for the Reader Confession Tag.  Mischenko’s blog can be described in one word: Cool.  Go check it out for yourself if you’re not already following. I’m sure you’ll learn something new every time you check in with her.

Thanks for the tag my blog buddy!

Rules:

Didn’t seem to be any…. so just answer and tag!

Questions:

Have you ever damaged a book?

Hmmm…. I don’t think so. If I did, I have probably blocked out the memory.

How long does it take you to read a book?

Really depends on if I like the book, how long it is, what other stuff I have to do.  That said, the quickest I can get through one (200-300 pages) is two days.

Books that you haven’t finished?

So far I’ve stuck it out even when I wasn’t enjoying.  I feel so much guilt at the thought of a DNF, but I suspect I will eventually learn to overcome such emotions.

Hyped/ Popular books you didn’t like?

None really.

If there was… I wouldn’t tell you! 😉

How many books do you own?

I’v become a kindle hoarder over the last several years… so too many on there!  In terms of physical copies, if I leave out textbooks and the children’s books… maybe about 60-70. Time to up my physical collection.  Used to be hundreds when I lived with my parents and was taking up their space!

Are you a fast reader or a slow reader?

Depends on the book.  But generally fast unless I want to really slow down.

Do you like to buddy read?

I haven’t done it yet but I want to!!!

Do you read better in your head or out loud?

In my head.  I don’t want to hear myself in the book.  I want to keep the story playing in my mind.

If you were only allowed to own one book, what would it be and why?

I wouldn’t want to live in that world.

I honestly don’t know.  Mischenko said a bible… which is a pretty good answer.  Lots of pages to get through and lots of stories to ponder.

  1. Great answers again! I love reading these. We learn so much about each other.

I was just talking with Nel about ebooks and the convenience if carrying thousands of books with you at the same time. I still don’t love them as much, but I’m working on it haha. 💖 I’d never have the space to hold all of them on shelves though. Such a dilemma. 😄

Thanks for linking back and for your kind words, friend. 😁 Have a beautiful day!
