The Awesome Blogger Award

iScriblr_awesomeBlogger

Another award tag.  Lol.  This time it’s The Awesome Blogger Award.  Thank you again to Richa over at iscriblr! Richa is a former ghost writer who has a passion for blogging.  Check out her blog for fun posts and photos on a variety of topics including travel, food, personal stories and much more.

About the Award – The award was created by Maggie at Dreaming of Guatemala who stated – “This is an award for the absolutely wonderful writers all across the blogging world. They have beautiful blogs, are kind and lovely, and always find a way to add happiness and laughter to the lives of their readers. That is what truly defines an awesome blogger.”

Here are the answers to the questions asked –

1 What, or who inspired you to blog?
Answer –On little more than a whim, is how my blog started.  I was looking at a video from the latest online ALLi conference and an author was talking about how bookblogging was a great way to network.  I never even knew about bookblogs.  I looked some up online and thought wow that looks like fun.  I read a lot but didn’t have an outlet to discuss most of the books I read.  Here was this fantastic world full of people talking books, more books, and even more books!  I was thrilled to discover it and was immediately welcomed into the fold.

2 What’s the story behind the name of your blog?
Answer – I originally started blogging to chat about Cozy Mysteries in particular, although I write about books in general really.  The Cozy Pages is a reference to cozy mystery books; and also plays on the word cozy/ cosy to create a warm, inviting space where we can just chat.

3 What’s your favorite season? Why?
Answer – Probably Autumn.  I always associate it with the start of a new school year… My inner nerd may be showing slightly here. 🤓  It’s a beautiful season with leaves changing colour and cooler days and nights, but not freezing temperatures yet!

4 If you did not have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
Answer – Read. Duh. 😆

5 Besides your cell phone and purse, what’s another item you cannot leave your apartment, or home without?
Answer – My glasses! It’s not possible to leave home without them.  Even if I’m wearing contacts, I take my glasses for just in case.

6 What’s your favorite piece of jewelry?
Answer – My husband gave me a Pandora bracelet a few years ago. I love choosing or receiving the charms to go on it. Each charm relates to some significant time or event in my life. My sons now help in selecting 😊

7 What skill would you like to master?
Answer – To be finally completely fluent in Spanish.

8 What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?
Answer – A South American tour.
