Sunshine Blogger Award

Here are the answers to the questions asked –

What’s your favourite makeup/beauty product at the minute?
Answer –  I have to admit I’m not all that into make-up.  If I’m going somewhere and want to be all glammed up, I’ve got a friend who is a super talented professional make-up artist.  She works wonders for me!  For everyday, I’ve got some MAC lipstick and whatever eyeliner I last bought at the pharmacy.  🙃

Do you have any weird food combinations that other people think are weird? If so what are they?
Answer – My grandfather used to make these ice-cream floats by mixing plain chocolate ice-cream with Coke.  I used to love sharing one with him.  I make them sometimes if the mood strikes and the ingredients are in the house.  My husband thinks it’s incredibly weird.  I just think it’s great.

Do you have any pets?
Answer – Unfortunately my eldest is allergic to dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.   So nope.  My last pet was a Yorkie named Samson that I shared with my grandmother.  Sadly he is no longer with us.

Have you broken any new years resolutions yet? If so what?
Answer – Well, I haven’t really made any… so, nope!

What’s your favorite color(s)?
Answer – To look at, probably purple.  To wear, brown and blue.

Do you have any pet hates?
Answer – Loud chewing, inconsiderate drivers, books that end with a cliffhanger (especially if the next in the series isn’t yet available).

Do you prefer a shower or a bath?
Answer – If I had more free time I might say bath, but showers get the job done.

Have you ever been to Disney World?
Answer – Not yet.

If you could have one super power what would you pick and why?
Answer – To be invisible. Spy stuff!

If you won £10,000 what would be the first thing you’d buy?
Answer – Skiing trip to Argentina in July.  Not that I’ve ever been skiing….

What’s your favorite perfume?
Answer – Uhhh… Well I currently have a Boss and a Burberry on my dresser… so I’ll go with those.

  1. Those are interesting questions! We used to have ice cream and coke as kids too! Sometimes root beer, but we would use whatever we had which was always a treat. We didn’t get to have sweets too often. My favorite color is purple too!

Your ski trip sounds fabulous. I’ve never skiing (besides cross country) and also haven’t been to Disney World. Congrats on the second award! Thanks so much for nominating me too. ❤ These are fun. 😁 Enjoy your day!

    1. Lol. I’ve never been able to put together any other combos but the choco and coke. I’ll have to try the root beer sometime. What flavour ice-cream do you recommend?

I love the idea of skiing. No idea if I’ll like the reality of it 😉
Hope you have a chance to do the answers!

      1. We always just used vanilla from what I remember. Sometimes we would use Coke, Pepsi, or root beer. I remember my mom loved red cream soda with vanilla ice cream. I can’t say that we ever tried chocolate with soda though. I might have to try it sometime. This is making me hungry!

      2. Lol. I know what you mean! My grandfather used to make something with the red cream soda too…. I think it was some kind of milk and soda concoction that tasted pretty good too. Hmmm…. maybe I’ll get some ice cream today 😄
