Right now, I’m making my way through Amanda M. Lee’s collections. She’s my favourite author this year. This indie author has mad skills, publishing several enthralling series simultaneously. She’s clearly a romantic at heart and writes engaging partnerships between her heroines and heroes. Even more enticing, most of these series feature heroines with paranormal gifts. We meet witchy Bay Winchester in Wicked Witches of the Midwest, the enchanted Zoe Lake in Covenant College, snarky grim reaper Aisling Grimlock in the Aisling Grimlock series and mental wonder Poet Parker in the Mystic Caravan Mysteries. Avery Shaw is an intrepid reporter for The Monitor in the Avery Shaw Mysteries. She may not possess paranormal powers but her sarcastic wit should be regarded as a superpower.
I will be writing short reviews about some of the books in these series and sharing my thoughts on how the story arcs are progressing. If you want to check out these books try the Casual Hex sampler which includes the first books in all the above-mentioned series except the Avery Shaw Mysteries. I find the heroines of these series very appealing and I hope you will too.
I’m interested in the Avery Shaw mysteries. I don’t read ones with paranormal content. 😔. Are you familiar with her embroidery mystery series? I have a couple of those in my tbr pile.

The Avery Shaw series is very entertaining. You should try it when you have a chance. I think the embroidery series is actually another author (Amanda Lee). Separate from Amanda M Lee, who also writes under Lilly Harper Hart. But I just checked out that series and it looks pretty interesting too. Thanks for the intro 😄

Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering why I hadn’t heard of the Avery Shaw series. Sounds like I’d like it though. 😊
